2023 Ford Mustang
Another name for a muscle car is a pony car, and the Ford Mustang has created a legacy that has taken over this class of vehicle. The Mustang is a household name and has been for decades, and the latest iteration of this iconic car has more to offer than ever before. Take a look at the 2023 Ford Mustang, and discover all the exciting features it has in store.
Trim Levels
With seven total trim levels, it's easy to find the Mustang with the exterior features that suit your needs best. To begin with, the Mustang offers the EcoBoost trim, which already comes with rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, and 17-inch wheels. Next is the EcoBoost Premium, which increases the wheel size to 18 inches and offers heated mirrors. If that's not enough, the GT adds upgraded brakes and rear parking sensors along with increased power.
The GT Premium is where the Mustang really starts to excel, with performance tires around 19-inch wheels complemented by a sport suspension system. With the California Special, you get unique badging for your Mustang along with lower side scoops and a special grille and front splitter. Opt for the Mach 1, and you get more unique styling as well as a special exhaust system. Finally, the GT500 is a performance-focused trim that lets the engine speak for the Mustang's style.

Engine
Under the hood of the new Mustang, you'll find one of three engine options. The first is a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 310 horsepower with 350 pound-feet of torque that already offers more power than most other cars on the market. The 5.0-liter V-8 offers 450 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, though the Mach 1's version can get a bit more. Finally, the ultimate 5.2-liter supercharged V-8 produces an incredible 760 horsepower with 625 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The Mustang was built for performance from the start, so it's easy to take advantage of all that power. It offers electrically assisted steering, which makes it much easier to control than the typical muscle car, including Mustangs of the past. Additionally, you get to choose between a 10-speed automatic and a six-speed manual transmission, allowing you to control all that power as you see fit. The GT500 is a bit of an exception, as it's paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Interior
When you sit inside the new Mustang, you'll find an interior that's more luxurious than you might expect with high-end available features like heated and ventilated seats. Plus, you get a generous 45.1 inches of legroom. The cargo space is also quite alluring with 13.5 cubic feet of space, or 11.4 cubic feet if you get the convertible version.
Safety Features
You can drive with peace of mind in the new Mustang thanks to its array of integrated safety features. You can opt for forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking in addition to a lane-departure warning system complete with lane-keeping-assist functionality. Blind-spot monitoring is also available, and it comes with a rear cross-traffic alert system too.
