Trim Levels
Four trims are available for the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport: Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands. The Base features a rear liftgate, 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, and roof rails. Move up to the Big Bend to get tinted cargo and rear passenger windows, along with heated outside mirrors.
With the Convenience package available for the Big Bend, you can also get LED fog lights. Opt for the Outer Banks to get standard LED fog lights, rain-sensing and heated windshield wipers, and 18-inch wheels. Last, the Badlands adds off-road-ready features such as front tow hooks, a forward-facing 180-degree camera, and underbody skid plates.

Engine
The Base, Big Bend, and Outer Banks all include the same standard engine, a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that puts out 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. Upgrade to the Badlands to get a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that cranks out 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission for a smooth ride on the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport.
Performance
The 2022 Ford Bronco Sport has a four-wheel-drive system standard for all Bronco Sports, so you can handle heading off the beaten path. With the drive mode select options, as part of the G.O.A.T (goes over any terrain) system, you can customize the drive configuration to suit your needs or conditions with modes consisting of Normal, Eco, Sport, Sand, and Slippery.

Starting with the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Base trim, interior features include an 8-inch touchscreen controlling a six-speaker sound system featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Opt for the Big Bend to get molle cargo straps, a rear center armrest with cup holders, a keyless entry with a push-button start, stain-resistant cloth upholstery, automatic climate control, and satellite radio.
