The first trim level in the 2024 Mustang lineup is the EcoBoost Fastback, which features sharper, more modern lines than previous versions, giving it an aggressive, aerodynamic silhouette. The EcoBoost Premium Fastback adds approach lighting, while the EcoBoost Premium Convertible lets you enjoy an open-air driving experience via a retractable soft top. On the GT Fastback, you'll find a unique high-gloss black grille, while the GT Fastback Premium is available with an active valve exhaust and a 19-inch wheel Brembo brake system with performance linings. The GT Fastback Convertible lets you take advantage of a top featuring a center latch, electromechanical drive, and a full lining. The brand-new Dark Horse model gets six-piston front brake calipers and a performance exhaust with black extensions.

Mustang EcoBoost models feature an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine capable of producing 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. With the GT models, you'll enjoy a fourth-generation 5.0-liter V-8 that generates 480 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Ford equips the Dark Horse with a 5.0-liter V-8 featuring connecting rods from the Mustang Shelby GT500 and a revised intake system. This modified design enables the Dark Horse's engine to put out 500 horsepower.

Ford pairs the EcoBoost engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the V-8 engines team up with a six-speed manual transmission featuring rev matching. Both systems optimize engine output while delivering straightforward acceleration. An available drift brake, the first in its class, makes taking tight turns even more exciting. The Dark Horse adds a MagneRide damping system to make every drive smoother and more comfortable.

The 2024 Mustang seats four and comes standard with cloth seating surfaces. Microsuede vinyl inserts are also available, while upper trims get leather upholstery. Inside the EcoBoost Fastback, you'll find a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, while the EcoBoost Fastback Premium features a curved glass display connecting the instrument cluster with a 13.2-inch center stack. This model also has wireless charging. The EcoBoost Premium Convertible offers dual-zone electronic temperature control and a nine-speaker audio system featuring an amplifier. A customizable ambient lighting system is available in the GT Premium Fastback, and with the GT Premium Convertible, you get a heated flat-bottom steering wheel.

With the 2024 Ford Mustang, you can take advantage of the Co-Pilot360 safety suite, featuring a pre-collision assist that teams up with automatic emergency braking to mitigate collisions.
