A photo of a road during autumn

Take advantage of the beautiful autumn weather for family fun. Start with our four favorite fall activities for all ages near the Paris, TN area.

1. Join us at the Pioneer Day Parade

This year, we’ll be participating in the Pioneer Day parade! The parade will be held on September 21st at 12 PM. The parade route runs from the Henry Fire Department to the Henry school, and there will be plenty of activities for the entire family. A few of the top attractions include a car show, smash a car event, bounce houses, face painting, and more.

2. Spend the Day at Eiffel Tower Park

This park honors Paris’s namesake city in France with a 60-foot replica of the Eiffel Tower, which makes a great photo op right at the entrance. Inside Eiffel Tower Park, you’ll find fun activities for all ages including an 18-hole disc golf course, a quarter-mile multi-use trail, soccer fields, a sand volleyball court, pickleball courts, and multiple playgrounds. Eiffel Tower Park is located at 100 North Caldwell.

3. Catch a Movie at the Parisian Theatre

On a rainy day in Paris, we love to see a first-run film at the Parisian Theatre. You can grab cool collectibles like movie-themed commemorative popcorn buckets during your visit. Don’t miss weekly promotions including $5 tickets on Mondays and free small popcorn on Tuesdays. Pack the whole crew into your Ford Expedition for an enjoyable day.

The Parisian Theatre is located at 161 Jim Adams Drive. The box office opens at 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. on Friday, and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

4. Attend ARTS ‘Round the Square

The annual ARTS ‘Round the Square event will take place on Saturday, September 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thousands of people visit downtown Paris to enjoy nearly 100 exhibitors and vendors, including art, jewelry, pottery, food, and much more. You can also enjoy live art demonstrations and hands-on creative activities for kids. ARTS ‘Round the Square is held on the lawn of the historic Henry County Courthouse at 101 West Washington St.

5. Experience Nature at Paris Landing State Park

This state park offers family nature programs all year. On October 5, you can attend Birds of Prey Feeding Time at 2 p.m. to see a staff member feed the park’s raptors and learn more about these fascinating birds. Kids can also make a craft to take home. The event is free and you’ll meet the ranger at the Visitor Center Aviaries. Paris Landing State Park is located at 16055 Highway 79 North in Buchanan, about a 20-minute drive from Paris.
