2. Westfalia Farms
Visit Westfalia Farms at 630 Alman Cemetry Road for a rustic and restorative experience minutes from town. Home of the Oreo Cows, aka Belted Galloways, and they can usually be seen from the farm gate. This farm is a great place to take the kids, with plenty of farm animals, gorgeous fields to explore, and a number of small ponds where you can relax and get some great pictures. You’ll find dogs, cows, chickens, friendly farmers, and farm equipment, different workshops, and farm tours. The farm also offers a self-service egg fridge, with plans to expand to the sale of meat in the future.

3. Paris Landing State Park
Less than half an hour outside Paris in nearby Buchanan, Paris Landing State Park sits right on Kentucky Lake and is one of the most beautiful natural places in the entire state. You’ll find plenty of places to hike, fish, swim, and see some of Tennessee’s most exciting wildlife and birds. There are also places to camp and small cabins located throughout the park. It’s a great getaway, and since it’s so close to Paris, you can easily make the trip on a whim.
